Welcome to Alexandra D Photo (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website [www.alexandradphoto.com] (“Site”) and all services provided by Alexandra D Photo.
By accessing or using this Site or booking our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

1. Services Provided

Alexandra D Photo offers photography services including but not limited to:

  • Wedding photography

  • Family and portrait sessions

  • Lifestyle photography

Each service may include separate agreements (such as a photography contract) outlining the specific terms of your booking. In case of conflict, that written contract will take precedence.

2. Booking and Payment

  • A non-refundable retainer (typically 20% of your total package price) is required to secure your date.

  • The remaining balance is due by the date specified in your signed photography contract.

  • No date is reserved until the retainer is received and the contract is signed.

  • Payments may be made via bank transfer or through stripe via online invoices.

Failure to make payment according to the agreed schedule may result in cancellation of your booking.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferable to a new date if rescheduling is requested with reasonable notice.

  • Cancellations made less than 5 days prior to the session date may result in forfeiture of all payments.

  • In the event of illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control (including severe weather), Alexandra D Photo reserves the right to reschedule the session or assign a substitute photographer.

4. Image Delivery

  • Final edited images will be delivered via an online gallery within the estimated timeframe stated in your contract (typically 4-6 weeks, depending on session type).

  • RAW or unedited images are not provided.

  • Client galleries remain active as noted in the service contract. This varies depending on session type. Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their images.

5. Copyright and Usage

  • All images remain the copyright property of Alexandra D Photo.

  • Clients receive personal use rights, allowing printing, sharing, and downloading for personal, non-commercial purposes.

  • Images may not be sold, altered, or used for commercial gain without written consent.

  • Alexandra D Photo reserves the right to use images for promotional purposes including website, portfolio, social media, or marketing materials unless otherwise stated in writing by the client.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients agree to arrive on time and prepared for their session.

  • Delays may reduce shooting time or result in additional fees.

  • Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary location permits and permissions when applicable.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and quality of your experience, Alexandra D Photo is not liable for:

  • Equipment failure, unforeseen circumstances, or accidents beyond our control.

  • Loss of images due to events outside our reasonable control (e.g., hard drive corruption, acts of nature).
    In the unlikely event of total photographic failure, our liability is limited to a refund of all payments received.

8. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute content or images from this website without permission.

  • Use this Site for unlawful or harmful purposes.

  • Attempt to breach website security or interfere with its functionality.

All content on this Site (including images, text, design, and graphics) is protected by copyright law and owned by Alexandra D Photo.

9. Privacy

Your use of this Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it for details on how we collect and protect your information.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws and courts located in Denver, Colorado.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may revise or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updates will be reflected by the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the Site or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
